The foot put on a puppet show.
And baked some bread
Sandra's feet ran a 5 k. Just under 29 minutes. Not bad for a pair of hideous feet. They're functional if nothing else.

The beach and other miscellany
Got some wild orchids growing next to the house. And what kind of wild orchid you ask? Well the foot kind naturally. Pink lady slippers. Apparently nature heard of the perfect feet and sent some of their own feet specimen in response. Quite rare around these parts.
The foot looking over some of the rhubarb that was planted earlier this year. 4 different kinds of rhubard growing. The foot is going to make some tasty pies.
The foot took a day off from its busy schedule of being perfect and went to the beach yesterday. Here's Foot Jr and Cinderella posing in the sand.
Sandra with her painted nails.
The foot and Foot Jr letting the surf bury the feet.
The foot relaxing and resting in its own perfection.

Strawberry/raspberry patch
The feet planted some strawberries last week and were working on the raspberries this week. The feet expect big things from these berries. The feet are master jam makers.
It took the feet about 4 hours to dig out the trench for the strawberries. It was all shale. So the feet had to smash it to bits. It was excavated to about a foot down and then filled with garden soil. 2 kinds of strawberries - Cavendish and AC Valley Sunset.
The next trench for the raspberries. Easier to dig. Not as much shale. The raspberries should produce this year but the feet won't be eating the strawberries until 2012.
Foot Jr was also helping out. Quite a helpful little foot.
Resting after a hard morning of digging.

Expanding the garden
The foot overlooking the big pile of soil that the dump truck dropped off the other day. 10 cubic yards. That's a lot of soil. The foot has already made quite the dent in it. Foot Jr has been playing in the dirt - that's quite the little back hoe that he's got.
The garden now has 8 boxes. 4 more than last time. The foot will be adding one or two more off to the side. The foot, while perfect, was not meant for manual labour. Building those boxes almost caused a callous on the big toe. And the shoveling and pushing the wheel barrow is a lot of work for 2 feet. The onions, carrots, beets and turnip have been planted. The rest will be planted in the weeks ahead as it gets warmer.
Before:
After:
Neither the foot nor Sandra's feet are impressed with the squirrels. It's one thing to eat the bird seed. The foot can live with that. The foot understands that's just par for the course when you live in a forest and put out bird seed. The foot, however, is most displeased with the squirrel droppings and squirrel urine on the deck eating through the wood. The foot counted 8 different squirrels coming and going this afternoon. The foot is going to Home Depot this week to inquire about rodent poison.
Sandra's feet on the back deck. It's ok if you throw up in your mouth a little bit. 7 1/2 D. Extra thick.

The Royal Wedding
Did you notice anything suspicious about the royal wedding? The foot did. None of the royalty had their feet exposed. All that inbreeding has probably left them with hooves or cleft feet.

Foot outing
Took Foot Jr down to the museum on the weekend to see the dinosaur display.
We were impressed with the T-Rex feet. Very prehistoric looking.
A salesman at Home Depot made Foot Jr a balloon sword. No the foot doesn't know why salesmen at Home Depot are giving out balloons. Maybe he's just friendly. After the money the foot spent there, it's probably the most expensive balloon sword in history.
The feet relaxing after a long day. What perfection.
Sandra's feet came over to have a look. Kind of like monkey feet. Good for climbing trees and peeling bananas.
Foot foreplay. Sandra's feet begging to be touched. It's like beauty and the beast for feet.
You can imagine the rest.
